Church Construction Teams Projects
The church team leader should contact the U.S. MAPS department to establish a team project, dates and team skills that are needed.
An Individual or Team Application Form is to be completed and received in the U.S. MAPS department before the trip is made. There is a $35 nonrefundable application fee.
Each member of the team must sign and return the Assumption of Risk, Code of Conduct and Insurance Election form prior to the team’s departure to the project. If insurance is requested, the insurance money and Insurance List Report also need to be sent to the U.S. MAPS department at least 3 weeks before departure.
The team is responsible to oversee local team recruitment, budgets and other arrangements. The group will name a foreman or group leader to work with the on-site project director and a treasurer to handle the financial matters of the team before, during and after the mission. For the church to receive World Ministries credit, they must have all of the necessary paperwork sent into the U.S. MAPS department prior to travel.
