It's that time again! My team and I are looking forward to seeing each of you at the 2017 RV Convention. We are believing God to move in big ways during our time together.

If this is your first time to attend the national RV convention, please join us for an orientation on Sunday, October 1, from 1:30 to 2:15. (Please refer to the schedule you'll receive when you check in for the location of the orientation.) In this brief orientation, you will meet the national U.S. MAPS team, as well as receive information that will help you not only this week, but through the rest of the year. We also include a time for Q&A.
The annual tool show will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. If you've never participated in the tool show, you will want to bring your money! Many tool companies bring their new tools to display and sell. This is a great time to pick up new equipment.
Two fun "extra" things the RVers do: Saturday morning (September 30) they have big breakfast at the campsite together. Then on Tuesday evening (your free evening), the RVers get together for a giant potluck cookout by the campsites. Make sure you bring your food and come hungry!
We will close the convention with the auction on Thursday afternoon. If you'd like to include something in the auction, please bring usable and sellable items as a donation to the annual RV auction. If your item is valuable, please include a written description. The proceeds from the auction helps to further the RV ministry around the United States. I am blown away by the generosity of our people! Seriously—pies sell for $1,000!

The dress code for the convention is casual for the duration of the convention. However, we do have a few fun nights where you'll want to dress up. For Monday night plan to dress up for dinner. All the Lake Williamson staff serves us for this evening, and they dress formally for the occasion to honor us. Let's reciprocate and honor them back!
Wednesday evening is our Western night. This is a fun theme evening, so bring out your Western apparel. We expect to see lots of cowboy hats and boots (and maybe a bonnet or two)!
RVers wishing to display their crafts for sale may rent a table for $10. Tables are only available to those who send in their craft table application before September 15, 2017. Set up will be after 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 1, and will need to be torn down after 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 4. Please note: You may display and sell scented candles, potpourri, fragrances, and fragrance warmers, but must remained sealed and warmers may not be plugged in.
If you would like an application for a craft table, please e-mail the U.S. MAPS office or call (417) 862–2781, ext. 1391. Tables will have a card with your name on it. Tables must be reserved in advance (prior to September 15). Unfortunately, we are unable to offer on-site registration for the craft tables.
The Lake Williamson Christian Center welcomes pets to the convention. However, pets are not allowed in any of the buildings and must be leashed and walked in the designated areas near the parked RVs.
Bringing Your RV?
Lake Williamson Christian Center has RV hook-ups available on-site, and have gravel pads. The LWCC also has grassy picnic areas, an indoor swimming pool, racquetball and horseshoe courts available for you to use. Hook-up fees for Saturday, September 30 through Friday, October 6, are included in the registration fee.
If you plan to work on-site at LWCC before or after the convention, you must be approved by the U.S. MAPS office prior to your arrival on-site. You will need to pay an additional $10 per day for each additional day you stay on property. (You will pay when you arrive at Lake Williamson Christian Center.)
A parking attendant will be on-site to assist you and direct you to your site. Please be patient! Parking attendants will have the names of those who have pre-registered for the convention.
If you don't plan on staying in your RV, Lake Williamson Christian Center has a motel on-site. The room rate is $67.50 per night. To book a room, please contact LWCC directly at (800) 500–5922 after July 1. (Please note: motel fees are not included in the registration fee.)
Early Bird Registration (on or before July 31) $175 per couple/$160 single
Registration (August 1–September 15) $185 per couple/$170 single
Late Registration (after September 15) $195 per couple/$180 single
You can register for the RV Convention on-site from 4:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. in the Auditorium.
The registration fee includes hook-up fees (for the duration of the convention), services, workshops, Sunday lunch, breakfast Monday through Thursday, dinner on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and the special events (Wednesday evening and the ladies' afternoon event).
If you are unable to attend the RV Convention and you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund minus a $50 non-refundable registration fee if you notify the U.S. MAPS office no later than ten days prior to the convention (September 20). Cancellations received after that date will not be refunded. Refunds will be sent through the mail by check.
